Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about listening, submissions, and APIs.

What is PlatPhorm Radio?

PlatPhorm Radio is an intelligent, free podcast streaming platform powered by real-time sentiment analysis and generative visuals. It is the audio streaming wing of the PlatPhorm News Network ecosystem, designed to make discovering and listening to podcasts more interactive and insightful.

How do I submit my own podcast?

You can paste public links from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pocket Casts, YouTube, SoundCloud, Audius, LibriVox, Wikimedia Commons, Vimeo, Mixcloud, Archive.org, Shoutcast, Icecast, and independent sites. The deterministic intake layer unwraps share text, Markdown, iframe HTML, feed URIs, provider app URIs, and malformed duplicated links before checking RSS, Atom, JSON Feed, Media RSS, JSON:API, oEmbed, M3U, PLS, XSPF, HLS, DASH, and direct public media. Access-gated or non-media resources remain attributed metadata instead of being mislabeled playable.

Is it really free?

Yes. The platform is free to use for listeners, with no paywall for core listening features.

How does sentiment analysis work?

The app analyzes title/description text signals to estimate sentiment states. That output powers visual tone and helps with recommendation context.

Do you provide an API?

Yes. The platform exposes REST APIs and MCP endpoints for discovery and integrations. See /api/docs for endpoint details.
